Migration from A-40 to Aleph...

Anyone have a recommendation about migration from an A-40 in a 2 monoblocks form fashion to an aleph model. I am presently thinking I will build an Aleph 5 because of the 32 V (in fact 34) rails . My A-40s are running off 300VA transformers, with 32 VDC rails, which are more than enough to feed each an Aleph 5 channel I think.

Any advice???

It will work fine, but you will come up a little short on
wattage, and with 300 VA of transformer per channel,
you can get about 50-60 watts per channel.

In fact, what you are looking at is a mono Aleph 5
circuit.

Yes, fault of having enough money to buy an XA200, I plan to build two Aleph 5 mono channels off my A40s. 😉
