Is mounting magnets pretty close together on the tweeter/midrange bad to do? I’m talking about 1-2” from each
The mid will be up 1.25” higher than the tweeter. Mounted in a wave guide 1.25” behind the baffle. Here’s how close they look. Any concerns with this?

Okay good to know. When they around this they sometimes pull together just lining them up. But mounted will be where the frames end from each other.
Would magnets super close to one another effect anything anyway? I’m talking .5” where there is clear pulling going on with them.

Yes- whatever energy they're using to attract will be lost in the overall motor (which is already badly inefficient and so you're unlikely to notice much effect)
The motor system of a loudspeaker driver is designed to direct and concentrate the magnetic field onto its voice coil.
This internal concentration of field will not be diminished by having two drivers side by side.
The attraction between the drivers is due to their external magnetic fields, and will not affect the operation of the drivers.
