I'm trying to decide on a design for a Fane Sovereign 8-225 8" driver
Bad Request
For a frequency range between 60-200hz is vented the best solution?

Just filling in the gap between my rinky dinky mains with 3.5" woofers and my 12" sub. The sub is built around an auto subwoofer and sounds like **** above 80 hz.What is the intended application?
For Fane 8-225, yes it is.For a frequency range between 60-200hz is vented the best solution?
This may indicate bad subwoofer enclosure design. Is it a bandpass box?The sub is built around an auto subwoofer and sounds like **** above 80 hz.

It's an open baffle H-Frame with a JL Audio 12w0v3-4, 30-80 hz sounds good at moderate levels. Above 80 hz it sounds like there's room mode resonance, only thing is OB shouldn't have room modes so I chalked it up to the driver itself.
I've been reading about tline designs and tried my hand at some designs. I'm having trouble figuring out the path length on a dual folded tline enclosure. Should it have a bend at the mouth?
An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
