Agreed with temp25...I recently corresponded with PE and my assumption is if it is marked "New" then it should be in stock in May, regardless of whether it indicates it will be in stock or has a MOQ.
On the other hand, the many drivers that are not marked New and do not say they will be in stock arriving in May, are still going to be NLA unless PE changes their mind.

Well that's good to hear because I've wanted to get my hands on some of them for some time now. Specifically the 4 and the 5 inch full range that has the similar construction to the satoris I see at madisound. Albeit for 1/4 the cost.I was told a few weeks ago, that the website was not updated. Drivers they get in stock are available without minimum order. Drivers are not new designs, they are new to PE stock. I've owned a pair of the 4" for over 15 years I think. I was told that their intention is to keep Peerless drivers in stock. I suspect that it's difficult for PE to have all of them all the time, due to Peerless purchasing requirements. I was also told that factory lead times are about 5 months currently on some items. There's a lot of items due to arrive in May. Some of those were ordered in January if I remember correctly.
I'm also interested in that 5.5 inch high excursion model for the company activity fund. I haven't gone ahead with that build as I'm waiting to see if these drivers come in stock so I can use them.
Yeah, It became my go-to brand for the inexpensive speakers I normally built after finding out that the RadioShack speakers I preferred were made by them at the time. Great bang/buck!Peerless
Did you run an expensive build and then go back to Peerless then?Yeah, It became my go-to brand for the inexpensive speakers I normally built after finding out that the RadioShack speakers I preferred were made by them at the time. Great bang/buck!
I'm considering a more expensive build and wondering if it's worth it. Might do a full Peerless build and see what happens
Yes, some people I know have these brands of speakers and they are very disappointing. I always wonder what those $500,000 jobs sound like. Best I've heard are literally the ones I've made.Altec, JBL, Klipsch, etc
I drink a specific black tea from Yunnan. Loose leaf. Or I drink single origin light roast coffee through a chemex. I cannot go back. Your analogy here with the Purifi is perfect. Their drivers really are that different. Apologies for not noticing that you wanted something under $300......I fear doing these types of things. I tried out a bag of Darjeeling 1st flush tea once. It ruined tea for me. Everything else is sub psr in comparison
Ditto by a 'country mile'.Best I've heard are literally the ones I've made.
