I hate XP... cant stand it ... I have to work with it far too often... It might look pretty but underneath it's the ugliest yet. Grrrr.........
ps. Fixing Windows PC's is currently how I make enough spare change to get me thru University bills etc.

Notice I am strictly saying XP on the desktop. That's all I have lengthy experience with.. in so much as I've had it for about 6 months on a few computers and I haven't had to reinstall it. Wow..

Im a computer technition and i work on computers for a living and well xp so far is great expecialy the roll back feature. BUT that doesnt mean that i run it at home all the time i have 4 drives
1 redhat
2 mandrake
3 xp
and 4th BSD
so yeah i like em all they all do difrent things now if i could get win4lin working i would have one drive and that is it..

If I were you, I'd diversify. 8 or 10 OSes on one computers is more fun.

With Virtual PC on my Mac that is not only a possibility, but you could be running then all at the same time.
OS X (BSD4.3), OS 9, OS 6 under vMac, then many flavours of Windows -- 95, 98, 2000, NT, XP, and flavours of Linux on x86, BSD...
