I am user of cd plyaer micromega stage 1 serial number 1160. I am looking for memory dump (image) of eprom 27c256 because the eprom of my stage 1 is damaged.
The file disappeared from the eprom memory. Maybe someone has the eprom memory image from micromega stage 1,2 or 3 ???

If you are in Europe, you may want to try to contact them.
They service old Micromega players, and speak fluent English without saying.

I own a Stage2 (S/N 21) with v1.3 firmware. I have the image of the PROM in hex format. As far as I know, the firmware was the same for micromega stage 1, 2 and 3, may be mine could work. You will have to get all the necessary to get your PROM written, I cannot do it for you. Of course, you'd better buy a new EPROM. The model I have on my stage 2 is an NM27C256 from National Semiconductor.
Besides this, I don't know if the solution I suggest is allowed by Micromega...
May be you can also have a look on my pages : Ptit Four There is not much about my Stage 2, I still have to write about it. I slightly modified the DAC, but I am also thinking about designing my own DAC.
