Like an old Philips CD650 I have (not in my main system).
I wouldn't have the money to charge myself the hours I spent tweaking it.![]()
And I'm still waiting to receive an XO clock I bought to Guido Tent to install on the CD650.😉
I just recieved some TDA1541A and TDA1543, time for tweaking my CD62 too 😉

Curiously, I have a TDA1541A too (in NOS mode) on my CD650.
And curiously again I have a board with TDA1543 Dacs (in NOS mode) and dedicated PSU, inside the 650 (in place of the "filter" board).
It seams we are riding on the same road.

Bricolo said:Are you also a studend on a limited budget, liking this old/good/solid/cheap stuff? 😉
I'm not a student.
But I'm always on a limited budget.😀
I have a house to pay for the next 25 years.

And a wife.😱
And an 8 years old kid.

Anyway, I have 4 systems at home.😱 😀
Some of them with old components I bought cheap.😉
Bricolo said:What's the biggest part of your expenses? HiFi stuff, the house, the wife, or the kid? 😀
Everything!

Except HIFI.
I make HI-END stuff.😀
And when I touch a crappy device most of the times it becomes HI-END.😱

It is.😀
like Carlos meant to say
When you start touching your wife .....she becomes expensive too!

She IS Hi-End.
I've touched her.😀
Good, IMO 🙂
But since it's my first "real" amp, I can't compare.
I like it, it's the most important.
Tomorrow I'll go to a friend's father's workplace, and we will do some measurements (bandwidth, THD, rise time...) I'll post the results (if they aren't too bad 😀)
