Max of 180W does sound kinda weak, but if produces a tight spot beam and the addition of a condensor lens, it might work great for smaller LCD panel projectors (7" or less?).
This is getting annoying again hehe.
I'm only using 150W MH so this means its not bright enuff huh?
I guess i've been looking at a black wall then for the last 5 months.
My advice: don't look at post from the last 3 months or so. The amount of bullsh*t outweighs the usable info.
Just make sure you THINK before you act. With a bad setup you WILL need 575W MH to get enough brightness.
My 150W needs a dark room, true. But I wouldn't want to watch a movie any other way so wtf. The picture quality I get WILL outperform most commercial PJ's and thats all that counts for me.
Added bonus: almost no heat! Very silent! Beautiful colors! 6000 hour bulb life! and more !!!'s 🙂
Just remember: commercial pj's often use 120W bulbs. Its all in the efficiency, not wattage.
