Hi,
I've got a setup with a stripped down TFT monitor and the parts of an overhead. I plan to mount them in a custom case. All I need is a good light source. MH lamps at 5500 K seems to be the way to go. However a local store offers 250 W lamps which come close to the correct color temperature (4800), on the other hand most people seem to prefer 400 W bulbs. Problem is that those only come in 4000 K.
Would 250 W be sufficient, or would you say 400 W is definite MUST?
Thx already!
Bart

Someone posted a link that I bookmarked on one of the moster threads.... here it is:

Said to get the "Full Blue" filter and that will turn 4000k into 5600k. I haven't tried it, so I can't say if it works for sure.
