I have a set of Maggies; one works, the other has broken wires. Magnepan sells a rebuild kit. There are several well-documented projects on the web for rebuilding. Basically the old aluminum wiring and adhesive must be stripped from the Mylar with acetone and new aluminum wire placed and glued to the film.
These have natural oak frames with off white grillecloth.

These have found a new home in Chapel Hill. The new owner learned that Magnepan sells spools of aluminum wire for the tweeter (32 awg) and bass (23 awg) for $20 each. The spools have enough wire for both speakers. They sell a kit that has the wire, adhesives, new terminals, solder, plus instructions for $70.
