Mesa Boogie Nomad 100 problem switching channels

Hi. I have a problem: if I switch channel via footswitch it is perfect. If I change via knob it gets a loud pop first time. Is it normal? Thanks

Are you comfortable with the LETHAL voltages inside this box?

Do you know how to take voltage readings?

If unsure, PLEASE take it to somebody with experience.

I would look at these points first.
