medium format slide projector

I have been following this for some time and posting for the first time so pardon me if someone addressed this before. It did not show up in the search.

Did any one tried using a Medium Format slide projector as opposed to the small (35mm) slide projector? The medium format can project a slide of (I believe) 2.5 X 2.5 inch. I guess it will be a little bit easier to find that size LCD.

I can have medium format slide projector from a friend if needed. Any suggestions for an LCD?

the rollei projectors are quirky (as are the cameras) but really a joy to use (as are the cameras) very well built too. I doubt that you will find any of them going for very cheap. I've been watching the usual laces for a couple years (not real faithfully) looking for a medium format projector and I haven't found one for a price I'm willing to pay.

I'm going to do something boring like project slides with it. 🙂

quirkiness of Rollei

the autofocus is a little quirky -- not quite right -- and the remote is very quirky -- seems to require that the projector warm up for a few minutes -- elsewise the focus buttons will cause the slide tray to advance! They should have bought those parts of the design from mighty yellow, Kodak. If I had to do it over again I wouldn't purchase the f/2.8 as the depth of focus is, as it should be, quite short and thus, as slides warm up they go rapidly out of focus.

All these criticisms taken into account, I have never had so much fun in photography as showing 645 and 66 chromes.
