Please read the earlier discussions about the use / advantage of the "like" button as intended by the diyAudio makers, and why the button misses the target.I disagree. The "Like" button will eliminate thousands of posts that only contain "+1"...

Jason. But he is very aware of the UX and wants the best for the forum and the users.Who "owns" diyAudio, and who gets to decide? Jason?
I have never seen a huge pile of those. I am mildly irradiated to re-open a thread only to find a new "+1" but so what?thousands of posts that only contain "+1"...
Did you guys also notice the introduction of a rating system for members, with levels and metal colors?
This makes me puke. I am halfway out of here.
Apparently this is a UI glitch, there is not going to be any "like" scoring, membership levels or point-scored regalia. Additionally the developers pushed out a change on Friday that has overwritten a lot of style updates we made ourselves. They are in the process of being restored.
This is all unfortunate, but don't fret too much, give it a couple of days and all this stuff will be washed away.

Automatic spelling correction/autocomplete function?
Jason, thanks, my strong wording was a reflection of my own weaknesses in this respect. Open any competition, and I will be compelled to enter it. Probably driven by my deep seated inner insecurities, hormonal inbalances or genetic deficiencies. The jury is still out on that. It might be a combination of all three.
It looks promissing that I will be spared a future of competitive posting.
