Greetings all,
I have implemented a simple two-way (for learning purposes) crossover in DSP of JRiver. It clearly works as verified by turning it on and off and listening to the different drivers, but I cannot find in JRiver documentation how to input the measurement signal from REW to JRIver, so I can measure the speaker. Both JRiver and REW are installed on the same computer.
Any help or reference to JRiver documentation would be appreciated.

Do you have both line output and input on your PC / device? Use a loopback cable and get REW to play to jRiver, which will output to Line out, then loop that to Line in as your measurement device for REW which should show the electrical transfer function of your crossover / filters.
If you don't have a loopback option. You'll need to record the output of the REW generated sweep into jRiver (can jRiver output to a file?) Then play the recorded file into REW (source from file not mic when you "record" a sweep).

If I understand you correctly, you are suggesting that there is a setting in REW to output into Line Out and in JRiver to input from Line In. I will look into that once I get back to my laptop.

REW sweep as output file is called also offline measurement file https://www.roomeqwizard.com/help/help_en-GB/html/offlinemeasurements.html , play it back with JRiver and connect sound card output to input what is defined as input for REW.

I was thinking about Dave's proposal, and if I were to connect Line Out to Line In, I could not connect the speakers via the amplifier. There appears to be something called virtual cable, but your suggestion seems cleaner.

You can install the JRiver WDM driver and choose that driver within REW as the output. Then all the sweeps from REW will run trough JRiver and from there to amps and speakers. You may need to run REW in Java mode for that to work though.
There is another option within JRiver with it's "Open Live" option but the WDM driver (a virtual audio driver that you can use to play/route all Windows music, e.g. Youtube, Netflix, you name it, trough JRiver) makes it quite easy to do measurements like the ones you're after.

The WDM driver sounds like a best solution so far. I will research the difference between it and the "Open Live" whatever it is.

I sounds like you need a "loopback" sound device. For Windows this would be VB-Cable. Then you play REW to this device's sink, and then use the devices' source as the input for JRiver (I assume it can use live inputs) which plays it back via your DAC.

The "loopback" device is, what contemplated. I take it that VB-cable refers to a virtual cable as I mentioned above, I do not understand the "live input" term as I am unfamiliar with the different DSP implementations, since I just started yesterday with this attempt. Hence my question here.

A live input means an input other than a file, like a streaming audio service or an input to the computer via an ADC, etc. Some programs can only play back files, but I assume JRiver can process any kind of audio input including live ones.
