Let's start here this thread, it will be interesting to look to different measurements and to find right way to read them.
Another example to look is two different interconnect RCA-RCA cables. Don't look at greater rise of cab1_delta_phase, it is zoomed on Y axis. Big difference in waveform between original record and 1 or 2 cable is in loopback WASAPI recording and DAC>ADC recordnig. Interesting to know what is wrong with comparing delta phase between different recordings. Perhaps we see a problem in my crap ADC, but anyway anoter differences are seen clearly. I don't want to name this two cables, if you interested, ask in PM. It is not about expensive audio gear. Just about difference.

Once again this is a misuse of DeltaWave. If you want to "prove a point" you should post both recordings and the original as well so others can perform the analysis themselves and possibly find out what is wrong with your setup.

Please also try to compare 2 recordings with the same interconnect cable.
Use a wav file as original. If you only want to record 60s edit the original. Make the recordings with DeltaWave using WASAPI exclusive mode drivers preferably at 24 or 32 bits. Do not edit the recordings.original:
Why it is so important for you? Excuses for not accepting the obvious? Even if here are present any windows resampling or something else - it will be on both records the same. We need to see only difference between them. You have an ADC and can repeat this simple recording with your rules about bit detph and special drivers, original file location, etc.
Hmmm, this looks like some interesting piece of software, but I was complete unaware of it... I briefly looked at the website. Windows only, no open source. Oh well... I might be able to swallow that if I have to. However, I'd like to better understand what's behind all the plots and numbers, and what they really mean. Is there a description of the math implemented in DeltaWave?DeltaWave
It is not at all important to me. It seems you seriously believe that you can measure a difference within audio bandwidth between RCA cables using 16 bit recordings. I wonder why nobody else has come up with such profound revelation 🤣Why it is so important for you?
This is the main thread at ASR: https://www.audiosciencereview.com/...test-deltawave-null-comparison-software.6633/Is there a description of the math implemented in DeltaWave?
You can ask more about DeltaWave from the developer (pkane@ASR).
If I hear difference between them, then why not so see this on delta between them, it is not about audiophilia, it is about how sounds device. I'm far from sure that I'll choose them correctly in a blind test, but I don't interested in this, because I don't deny it. Hope this tool allows us to see much more interesting things in comparing different components (even capacitors). I have a question for a long time, if cheap USB powered DAC take almost winning "excellent" SINAD score table, so perhaps it is not about how it sounds, it is about its "performance". But we all know this box can sound much much better, so why it is measures excellent in stock ? Lets find an answers with whole sound analysis, not cool numbers in dB and zeros after point in distortions.I wonder why nobody else has come up with such profound revelation
My USB controller doesnt friend with ADC 48K mode. It will be normal to record all at ADC input in 16/96 with exclusive WASAPI ?
Don't smile about ADC setup, as I said the difference in real is much more aduible. Of course it ruins many information from its inputs, but the point of this is to look at DELTA between two samples recorded by the same device in same way.

What your DeltaWave screenshots show is that there is a serious flaw in your measurement setup and/or procedure. I have already few times described how you should make these recordings. And the suggestion PMA made is very good: make 2 recordings with the same cable and check if you see a difference. It is important to use WASAPI exclusive mode and not to edit the recordings as resampling or editing of 16 bit recordings may involve random changes, e.g. added dither.then why not so see this on delta between them
just cutting silence at start/end ?or editing of 16 bit recordings
Despite the problem with ADC setup and phase problems, here is a viewable thing. We see a similar rise of phase and group delay and increased difference in spikes at delta phase graphs between two probes (in comparing to original) of the same cable with the same DAC. And now we can see at difference between anothers DACs XMOS 1V power supply. It is completely not in the same way/direction (we assume the amound on spikes phase it is ADC issue). I'll keep an eye on this for a while.
