And so can a regular Technics SU-VX600!!!
Why not the GFA-5800?
Would some fan controller redesign do it or some component changes?

No.
I never bought the amp.
Instead I have settled on Carver Sunfire 300 and I am deliriously happy with that amp.
A perfect match to the Scinnies!

Think an adcom can do a pair of thiel cs 3.6. Dips to 2.5 ohms throughout the mid and highs.

How many amperes per channel peak does the 5800 have? Parasound hca-3500 has 120 peak for example.
