I have checked the other threads on this, but please just delete this post if it has in actual fact been covered before.
I’ve tried a couple of products for speaker finishing; warnex and upol raptor.
Comparing the finish to OEM finishes (like one might find on a touring level product), these two are too shiny for my liking, and do glimmer somewhat under stage light. The OEM finished tend to be dead matte.
Is Duratex any more matte? Are there any other products that are known to give a very matte finish?

Seriously.
Look at a lot of stage speakers and they are covered in thin carpet.
If it has to be a paintable finish, maybe some sort of truck bed liner spray ?
Pretty sure you can also get spray or brushable clear matt top coats.

They get thrown around a lot in transport between gigs, so the cover is something that will not show marks.
You can try black board paint, or any dull finish.
How about Astro turf?

The box or the driver?
If the driver i expect that vinyl specifically for this can be had in a wide range of colour & finish. If a paper driver use matte modPodge.
