I am building my first Aleph J. I built a testing jig to match my own mosfet devices, but before spending $80 on a tube of 24 from mouser, does anyone have 8 matched for sale or two matched quads?
or does anyone recommend an eBay reputable seller to buy a matched set?
Any help is appreciated!

Got it! just ordered a set for $51 after taxes!
Perfect! This helped me finding new transistors to use in place of the ZTX550 and 450
Glad. I think you'll still need the Toshiba matched JFETs as well which p much only come from the diyAudio store. I think it's a P-channel quad .Perfect! This helped me finding new transistors to use in place of the ZTX550 and 450
Dustin - I packed up your shipment. Thank you!
I don't have ZTX450's. I put in 4x 2N4410. I have a pile of these for "Classic Aleph" kits. The 2N4410 can take the place of the ZTX450, but the pinout is the opposite. The 2N4410 will be installed opposite to the shape on the PCBs. Pay very close attention when installing them.
I just ran out of ZTX550. Have you checked the threads for alternates? BC556 maybe?

Awesome! Thanks for reaching out. That is great you have the 2n4410's. I just ran out of the BC550 which is what I WAS using for amp camps.
I was going to use the below 2n5401 for the ZTX550 but see the BC556 is in stock at Mouser! I will get those keeping in mind orientation as I believe those also need to be flipped around.
The thread states any PNP or NPN will work as long as the orientation is correct.

The PCBs have a labelled pins instead of TO-92 outlines anyway, so as long you use parts with EBC or CBE pinouts, you'll be fine. Just rotate your transistor to match the pin labels.
Have fun with your build.
