Master Volume stuck on full Marshall 101cfx

I have a Marshall MG101CFX solid state. I was playing when it randomly kicked the master into full volume. Now the only the way I get a sound out of it without blowing out my ears is using the volume knob, which i barely have to turn up to get a tolerable sound.

Sounds like a feedback resistor may have gone open circuit or something, leaving it with super-high gain. Does it also have a lot more hiss with the volume turned down now? That would point towards the power amp section.

Another possibility is that the ground connection on the master volume pot has become open-circuit.

That's assuming this is an analog amp with actual pots. I'm not familiar with any contemporary Marshall products.
