MASCO INTERCOM - GUITAR AMP PROJECT?

I just picked up a little 3 tube Masco "Econofone", with extension spkr unit. All the tubes are mini 7-pin (50C5, 12AT6, 35W4). No PT, of course! Lots of possibilities.... rather than just an iso xfmr (to make it safe), why not boost the B+? Or just play with the existing tubes, use a 3-prong AC cord, and always test the outlet for correct wiring and ground. Might build that little Weber SS tremelo board, or a diode distortion unit and stuff it in there with a selector switch. Need to see if Celestion makes a 4" speaker (LOL). Will be researching old amps - found a Gregory schematic that is said to sound nice, to emulate.

I have an Airline 8511, amazing power tube compression, chime, and growl, all at varying volumes, look for its schematic on google images. Simplest output I have ever seen. Btw, the output tranny in your masco is twice the size of the one in my amp... haha

I'm gonna keep it externally original, and just get it working as is for starts. Learn about these non guitar amp tubes. Have data sheets, will play with bias, headroom and distortion. Call it it my "breadboard of DOOM", due to no AC isolation!
