I have a Marshall 3520 IBS bass amplifier that needs a replacement transformer. Original one made by Drake(# 07-197/8) has dual 115VAC primaries and center-tapped secondary that I think was 35 volts each side of center. After a bridge and two 10,000uFD/63 VDC caps in series across bridge produces about 50VDC on each rail + and - for final MOSFET pairs. Thinking of replacing it with a Avel Lindberg #Y236752. (Someone on here just sold two of those at a steal for $110 and I missed it BTW.) Has anyone replaced the power transformer in one of these? What did you use? Help would be much appreciated.
