Hi, I'm thinking of building some small speakers to be used with the PC and then to be placed on the desk, I was interested in using markaudio pluvia 7 or 7.2 and I wanted rather small dimensions like these:

Unfortunately I have not found anything similar online ... any suggestions about it?
Thanks.

You can make the box smaller, but the box you referenced is optimal. Are you set on the P7 or A 7.2?
I'm a fan of all Mark Audio speakers, so my opinion is if you have the room, go for it. I had a pair of CHP-70's in slim golden ration cabs on my desk for quite a while. I now have a smaller desk and smaller speakers, however, I have given serious thought to using the CHP-70's again. If you could incorporate them into a functional part of the desk, like using them to support a shelf, you'd have a solution for the realestate they need and you'd have great sounding speakers.
You could also go smaller and have less low-end, or use a subwoofer. Have you tried loading the into WinISD or another enclosure design app?

I would not put that pluvia in something smaller than 12L to be honest. smaller will make the response uneven. At least in a ported config. Sealed can be smaller, but you will need a sub for below 100Hz then. The 6.2 can be tuned to 65Hz in a 5L so maybe go for the 6.2 if you want it that small.
The millSize Plu-Ken (mPlu-Ken7) you linked is the smallest box i would put them in (optimal miniOnken alignment is 9L, these are about half that).
I guess, if you are willing to sacrifice bottom, a smaller aperiodic boc could be done.

The size in this case is really important, it has to be something small and maybe with chp or chr I can get something smaller.

I have seen some projects in this regard, to be taken into consideration.

This project is interesting, do you know what frequency they are tuned to?
Hello,
Why not try to go compound : 2 identical drivers coupled by an as small as possible volume , that halves VAS so halves the inner boxe volume needed for the desired alignment.
Doubles the speaker cost, without bonus on SPL, but does that really matter for a desktop use ?
Just my 2 cents...

With a box this small, you will gain very little, if any, box-size wize, trying to go isobarik.
Amd even more problematic is that isobarik has a bandwidth issue which make suse in a FR speaker not a good idea at all.
