Some time ago I sent a E mail to Mark from Mark Audio and he told me that the CHR-120 can be used as a low end or a bass driver if needed. I totally forgot about this e mail. Sometimes getting older things just seem to come into remembrance after awhile not all the time but, this time it did. 🤦🏼.I assume you're going for the biggest MA driver you can get your hands on for the extra dynamics/SPL of a larger driver. I think it might be worth considering the CHR-120 and CHN-110.
I've not heard any of the drivers, just 7ms and Pluvia 7HD, but I've seen quite a bit of praise for the CHR-120 and CHN-110 even though they aren't considered the flagship MA products. They are both larger than the 10, and the CHR-120 is the largest driver from MA.
It depends what music you listen to and how loud, I don't think the 11ms is intended to specalise in bass heavy music, whereas I think the CHR-120 and CHN-110 are designed to take more of a beating and sound good. Someone will correct me if I'm wrong I'm sure 🙂
An idea:
WAW, CHP-90 as mid/tweet, and a pair of CHR120 as bass drivers. Won't be the cheapest, nor the most expensive combination.
Something tells me that it can sound good 🙂

From what I've read about the CHR-120 the top end is also good, even though the emphasis seems to be on the bass response whenever you read the Mark Audio literature about it.
Somehow accidentally convincing myself to buy them myself now haha.
I would say if you're considering a WaW they do suddenly get a lot more complex. I have been planning to make one for a while with Alpair 12PWs (which I have) but I need to figure out the crossover (never made a crossover before). You can go active too but you have to think what works best for you. I just want them passive to easily use with my AV amp. The cost does suddenly jump up a lot...
First example from the collection nof Scott’s designs sstill not drawn up properly.

Yes the crossovers can get very costly I agree. You could buy a pre done crossover from Mouser Electrics A Visaton one or Parts Express a Dayton Audio one. Dave From Planet 10 Hi-Fi would be better at helping you out with this he has more experience in this area then me.From what I've read about the CHR-120 the top end is also good, even though the emphasis seems to be on the bass response whenever you read the Mark Audio literature about it.

Yes dave I agree. I could cut the A10.3 at 80hz and put in a low end driver passive or just use a powered subwoofer and cut that in at 80hz on the cut off frequency. I know an Audiophile who builds everything from scratch and he swears by the A10.3’s in the floor standing Penicls 👍.WAW is Interesting. You could pick a better bass driver than the A10.3 thou.

Me crossovers? I leave that to others most times.
WAW is way easier to play with if you can go active.
