Hello dear DIY Forum members!
As a new member, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Gerd and I live on the southern, outer green belt of Cologne, near the Rhine.
How I found the DIY Audio Forum – through reports/articles about Mark Audio speakers.
What have I planned? And that would almost answer the question of where a decision-making aid would not be bad:
I intend to build a reflex shelf speaker with a Mark Audio Alpair 10. 3 with the sonic orientation of a monitor speaker which displays clean 48 - 50 Hz.
Thanks for the tips!
Kind regards Gerd

Welcome to diyAudio
Got the A10.3 yet, they are getting hard to find. Still a few MAOP 10s left.
Best to post this inquiry in the FR forum.

Dave, not sure I understand - are you saying the Alpair 10.3 is getting hard to find?Got the A10.3 yet, they are getting hard to find
Yes, it is NLA. Molds for the baskets are end of life.
I am guessing, given shuffles in nomenclature lately, that CHR/CHP-90 are very closely related to A10.3/p.
Leif (@LeifB60) certianly likes his CHP-90, and both get good reviews,

I am really surprised by the CHP-90. Very cheap compared to 10.2Maop.
They are not far behind 10.2Maop. Pleasant sound I must say.
I chose the Bluebuck box and I don't regret it.
I can imagine that they would fit in the miniOnken. With very good result.
I have 10.2Maop in the miniOnken but have tried them in a larger box like the Pencil with good results.
However, I prefer them in the miniOnken because they disappear in the soundscape. Magic.
