Hi,
Can anyone translate this picture? (If you zoom in on the picture there is a schematic - I can see a differential pair)
I can read tda1541a s2 X2, tda1315, and dsp in the article.
I'm also pretty sure that the decoupling caps for the tda1541a are Soshin Blue slive mica caps.
Kind regards,
Ashley.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

After some image analysis.

I am looking for this service manual also. If anyone has a copy, please let me know.
Also if someone can translate the text in the above picture, it would be great!

Not a lot of info on this DAC made by Philips/Marantz (ca. 1998), but quite a huge collection of pics on:
Marantz project D-1 d/a converter - DutchAudioClassics.nl
Other than the TDA1541A, take a look at the digital filter: 8fs on DSP. Looks like quite a few RAM chips surrounding that DSP. From the little info I found, the digital filter is a "scaling" type.
Marantz Project D-1
Anyone here on DIY invloved in this PROJECT from a few decades back? I.e.: Philips engineers! Or was this more of project of Marantz Japan?
