I would try removing it yes. Isopropanol is great for cleaning off crap including laser cleaning. Nail varnish remover should work fine but i'm not sure you should do this as you may want to remove your nail varnish after a night out and find there is not enough left

They're still not here

Hi Lee
I read about the CD red book and I got the idea that there should always be a TX on the output of a good CDP.
Am I getting it right ?
What are your assumptions regarding this tx mod ?
Why is it so unique ?

Thank you Brent
Can you point me a commercial designation for isopropanol ?
About nails, did you ever tried gel nails ? http://www.nailsplash.com/gelnails.html
These last longer and need not be removed after a night out.... You will like it

Don't use this on plastic lenses.
I decided to run a clock signal direct to the decoder on the works 63se with mild mods.
Ricardo you have a good ear so you need to try this and it only takes 5 mins to test.
RD14 / C521 near dac (same part) cut a leg.
Run short wire from dac clock output to decoder side of U193 near decoder (actually fitted with a resistor)
On the test one here the detail jumped out, the music became much smoother and fluid.
Going to do mine next week and then later on upgrade to a dedicated clock. I need to test if it will work on a different clock to the dac one first. I see no reason why to be honest.
Have i found another cheapo mod??
Brent
.....Another 1 is to make a shorted jack for the digital output....Anyone tried it? Ian
I did this, didn't notice any difference though. Easy enough to do though, you may have a different experience.
Regards
Pete
How much!!! You sure about that? I got 2 63's that needed lasers for less than £10 each and one of them had a remote!
In fact that's nice! You may have many SAA7345GP and remotes wich I long for! Lucky bristish people...
Do you know how much charges you Royal Mail? Take a seat before you check... to buy in USA is cheaper!
