A second clock... I should mind that...
For the amp I have no feedback for the big G&W stuff, but for what they're famous, main filter and headphone amps, they're at the top. My integrated also, so I would give my confidence in them, even if the big integrated I'm in love with is the Classic 6.6 wich can be used as power amp. google image for "TW-A8SE" and its shows... Simon pic!
Let's be back in our CDP... will fit 220/16 BG around the dac soon.

The 220 BG will be good but 470 BG are better.
What is your oppinion about the Classic 8.0B ?
I really need a power amp but know nothing about them.

Ricardo
I'll stick to 220 😉 Try not to load too much PSU 🙂

The 220uF BG are great for the dac. Don't worry they will be a big improvement over the RJH you have now. 470uF would bring a little more bass weight but only just.
I use the 220uF BG alot in upgrades

So I want the 470!!! 😉
I'll see, if Lee can upgrade my order or if it's too late!
Leeeeeeeeee pleeeeeeeeeeeezzz
And is it CD15/16 if you remeber?
Thanks Brent!
Yes CD15 CD16
Don't worry if you get 220uF. Some people prefer the slightly leaner bass.
You are using an Spower if I remember correctly on the dac analogue so 220uF is fine. The regs can deliver lots of current and a large cap is not really necessary.

I will follow this idea also....
Will place 470uF BG on the opamps and 220uF BG on CD15 CD16.

My internet provider (cable-company) merged with two other companies. Seems they've taken stuff off-line without notice. Very nice...

It's back up! They also screwed up index.html. Thanks for noticing.
Pls. let me know if you find anything not working, I may have missed something.
I hate these guys. Everything is a mess at the moment, their site is not working properly, the phone is always busy... it's raining complaints.
But the good news is they doubled my download speed to 8Mbit 🙂

Just a quick browse, looking good again. You have a couple of dead links.

Too late, order updated 😉
I like richer bass anyway...

DAC PSU
Just finished and installed my DAC PSU.
Now it is feeding the Spower on DAC analog..... latter will feed another sreg on DAC digital (I am using tottally independent PSU lines.
See the "external" 15VA 2x 9v TX....
This modd is still burning in so I will not comment right now.
