Marantz CD player belts

To Whom It May Concern:

I own a Marantz CD-11 MK11 cd player. The cd drawer needs belts but I cannot find them. I am told that the belts needed are:

4822 358 30762
4822 321 30374
4822 358 30763

Do you know where I can find them?

I doubt you will find official Marantz part numbered belts. Maybe. But there is nothing critical here. You need belts of roughly the same dimension. Bonus, many belt sellers also have part number cross references, so you MIGHT cross the Marantz #s, but if not, just measure the dimensions you need.

Google "tape recorder belts" or "CD player belts" or similar to find sellers. MCM and Parts Express used to sell them.

Enzo, Thank you for getting back to me. I had taken it to a high-end audio store. They were the ones that provided me with the model numbers. They put in non-Marantz belts but they weren't strong enough. The drawer opened a few times before it stopped working.

Any other suggestions?

The 4822 prefix indicates Philips part numbers (Historically Marantz was/is part of Philips)

Usually, belts are just something you to browse the catalogues for.

Measure the size, check the profile (round or square) and try and find something suitable.

Thank you Mooly. I was told they are square. Squares were put in but the audio shop couldn't locate belts strong enough to consistently work. They spent hours trying to locate the size without much luck. David

In a pinch you could try rubber bands. I'm guessing these belts aren't very big, and this is just for the drawer, after all.
