Hello.
I have after 9 years gotten around to locating a torroidal transformer for my old trusted Marantz CD 63 KIS CD player.
Slight problem - I have do not have a wiring diagram, and pictures of the PCB on the Internet are not clear and do not show what is going on under the transformer mounting plate.

Can anyone help?

Thanks.

Just have a look at the KI pdf: yellow, pink, grey and thick yellow all go to U309. This runs to the central ground-point through U233.

BUT... if you want to do it nice-and-neat, you can also connect grey and pink to the empty unused pad that's near U305. These are the windings for the analog supply-voltage and by doing so, it runs to the analog ground-point, through U231.

Transformer installed

Thanks for your assistance!!!!

The torroidal transformer obtained from ebay replaced the temporary non-KIS 'temporary transformer (now a spare JIC), and this combined with the Rock-Clock master clock (with it's own PSU), NewClassD opamps, removed headphone stage transistors, really make listening addictive again. Playing back some older Sting CDs for example revealed sounds I had not heard before, imaging is improved too,

Note the other kit is a Pioneer A400 amp, and Ruark Sabre 2 speakers, which play very well together.

Cheers!!!
