Hi ,
I have a Marantz CC4001 cd player about 2 year old. I am trying to upgrade the master clock. But when I opened it I could not find what I was looking for-the Piezo crystal😀.It is a reasonably good transport with a fair quality DAC chip (CS4392) ,which is also used in some of their newer models. I will post pictures soon .Seems like well built from inspection except for the main PCB which look cheap and flimsy. Any idea where can I find the crystal to change?

The three, two legged metal cylinders are crystals, X101,X102 ? (or is it 202, abit blurry) and X103. No idea which is the master clock though.
Do you think its worth it ?
I'd be inclined to look at the opamp circuitry tbh and replacing those 2068 opamps perhaps with something like a FET device such as the OPA2134 or OPA2604.

I figured there are three,no idea which one is master. Perhaps I should look for a player with just one crystal...
