Marantz 7C Fuse type

I'm getting close to finishing up on my Marantz 7C replica build and looking for guidance on mains fuse type. The service manual calls for a 1/2 A 3AG but does not specify fast or slow blow. I'm assuming with filaments heat up inrush it will need to be a slow blow but does anyone know what they used originally?

I personally own two Marantz 7s. Neither one says "slow blow", only ½ amp above the rear holder. So I assume either type is satisfactory. If you experience frequent fuse blow outs, then use a slow blow.

Thanks TG and HollowState. Its interesting to know that the very early models placed the text indicating slow blow and that they stopped the practice later on. I'll give the non slow blow a try and if needed switch to the slow blow.
