Then by all means build yourself a gainclone with a 1kVA transformer and tell us what you hear. The gainclone is not a Class A amp so many of the blanket statements that you've made here do not apply and are misleading to the newcomer so refrain from doing so unless your comments are backed up by experience and since we're on the topic of first hand experience and things you know nothing about, your (insert loved one here) would be the best person to ask about my personal endowments 🙂
