Sideways Eight Audio Labs announces two fabulous audio products for audition in the Taipei City and surrounding areas. By special appointment we will bring one or both units to your home for an afternoon/evening of listening and evaluation.
1. 6C45Pi headphone amplifier/line stage (with separate tube power supply) using constant current source loading, shunt regulation, and custom Peerless TL-818 output transformers from MagneQuest. With impedance matching, it is suitable for nearly all ultra high end headphones such as Sennheiser HD-800, Beyerdynamic T1, Grado PS1000. For the line stage function, the output impedance is 500 ohms.
2. KT-88 triode 6-watt single ended integrated amplifier (with separate tube power supply) using 12BZ7 beta follower driver, constant current sink in the cathode circuit, MagneQuest BCP-16 nickel grid chokes, and MagneQuest DS-025 output transformers. This unit is suitable for high efficiency loudspeaker systems.
Each unit will be made to order with customizable options such as cover plate color (silver/gold) and premium bamboo chassis finish.
