But there IS a possiblity that this is model LM143 and not the LM143sb because walmart lists both the LM153 AND LM 153sb
So what is the difference between regular and sb models? Norcent doesn't list anything with a "sb" in the model number. But under technical specs for the LM153 they do mention that a built in TV feature is "optional"
OK I have searched and Yes the walmart specs are off, Its only 250-1 contrast ratio and no there isnt a way to get anything outa them for making a typing error( every websie has a clause to that effect) so Nope But still for 170 range 250-1 contrast thats not too shabby, whats the I-O data and Nec 1545V? contrast wise.

property the page with those monitors you just linked to said they only had 200,000 colors, not enough colors
262,000 colors. Aren't those like the "minimum level to be visually pleasing to the human eye" or something? Because the rest of the *^$%^% specs on that monitor are REALLY good.

EDIT, as to your question on the amount of colors thats not enough to make a good projector most EVEN older lcd projection panels have 500,000 + colors, Look for at least 1 million.( for a new monitor that is)

I can't believe that other one that i posted has only 260,000 colors but the rest of the specs are TOP QUALITY....what the *^#$*....why?
I dunno, Its usually kinda a trade off, For example,when LCD projection panels were all the rage, as soon as say panels jumped from 640 x480 to 800 x 600 When resolution increased contrast decreased, My proxima 9210 ( lcd projector) is 16 million colors and 150-1 contrast, But now a days ( years later) you will find 3,000-1 contrast ratio and 2-4,000 ansilumens, granted the projectors of that quality will be ungodly priced in the 9-20,000 price range. So in short, manufacturers make dumb decisions.
