This amp is working flawless when I remove the protection ic (NJM2904L) but I can’t seem to find what’s shutting it down with the component in place? I’ve also tried a new one, a working used one and even change the Pwm chip (TL494).
Can anyone offer some assistance on this amplifier?

Start by lifting the two diodes on the output of the 2904 (reinstall it) to see which half is triggering the protection circuit.
The diode on pin one of the error ic is lifted and it switched on, pin seven diode I lifted that earlier but it was still going in protect (pin 7 diode is still in place now).
It’s somewhat similar as you stated “basic” but the output in the diagram passes thru two diodes with connected cathode, mine is connected but firstly passes thru (pin1) two diode in series with a 2.7k resistor in the middle.
Anyways, I’m getting 12v on pin one output, but I guess removing the diode, the pwm chip isn’t seeing that error.
Where within the circuit do I check now?
