I am in the process of building a pair of linkwitz lxmini and am having some trouble deciding how I would like to mount the speakon connectors. I'm thinking of just having a small block of wood behind the pipe with the connector mounted on it, and the cables going straight into the pipe. Has anybody else built these speakers who can provide some input? I was also considering mounting them directly to the base with the speaker cable coming out facing up, but I am worried about the amount of strain that this would place on the speaker.
