As proof of the concept, I decided to make a clone of the LXmini speaker.
The results are excellent both audible and measurable.
The drivers I used are Mivoc swm 68 and TC9FD18-08 which in my opinion is a far better driver than Seas FU10RB (H1600-04).
I ordered the Seas L16RN-SL (H1480) waiting to arrive to make the final version.
If someone is an expert in designing parts for a 3D printer, they might be able to contribute to the design by designing the upper part that comes on the tube.
Off axis measurements are 0-22-45.
The microphone I use is Umik-1. It has a horrible feature to bring down the response over 18khz so I don't know the real situation above.
Crossover is terrible minidsp 2x4.

Similar 3D parts are already on thingiverse.

The main problem is DSP.
The MiniDsp 2x4 is very bad.
Avoiding ADC conversion would be better as well as internal DAC.
I also tried the MiniDsp curryman DAC oh my god what a disaster.
It's like someone has a pillow in front of the speakers.

For my LXMini I purchased a Beocreate unit Beocreate | HiFiBerry with a Raspberry Pi but the power for the FR unit was too little. I am now working with the Zoudio unit zoudio actually 2 pieces in TWS as I plan a LXMini+. Running at soundlevels of 80dB I am getting THD around 0.2-0.3% above 200 Hz from the speaker that is. I plan a post in the Zoudio thread ZOUDIO AIO4CH: 4-channel amplifier with DSP and Bluetooth later.
Looks nice. Is the pipe of the woofer closed at the bottom? The tube for the full range is open at the back?

This is the original design. The base has a small hole drilled in the centre and the smaller of the tubes is open at the rear but loosely packed with acoustic 'cotton wool'. Nelson Pass has designed a crossover for it and kits are available in the store.
