Hello Guys,
My T1L (T1 plus LW band, special for Europe ? ) has gone dark. The bulb (s ?) have died.
The maintenance manual state that they are AL0039 which I bet is a Luxman part number.
So my question is : Do somebody knows what this lamp is exactly ? And what kind of socket they use ?
Many thanks in advance for your help.
Have a very nice Christmas holiday !

Measure the voltage available with a VOM. Then, measure DC resistance in the socket with rig out of the mains socket to see if itis AC or DC. Then, find a new unit. Most use #40 or 47 that are 6V 150mA, with screw or bayonet base. If AC and you want to use led light, then search for appropiate substitute.
If Luxman did it once, they probably did it over and over. Look at other models.AL0039 which I bet is a Luxman part number.

I am guessing this has fine wire leads soldered-in, not a socket.
That part number is obsolete most places. Get any tiny 12V 100mA incandescent (1000lamps dot com, etc) -or- a white LED plus a 100Ω 1/2W resistor, stick it in with modeling clay to find a good spot, then hot-glue.
Thank you both for your answer.
Bigger difficulty will be to get the tuner outside the place it is installed in...
I may have a couple of 12V 100 mA bulbs somewhere leftover from a previous project so repair will be easy.
Have a very nice Christmas and stay safe !
