You really should have that set serviced in the very near future. It simply is not performing as it should even if it works. They aren't that rare, but they are a good receiver.

Update .
The package of fuses arrived.
Switched the blown fuse.
Powered on the Luxman with no turntable or speakers hooked up
The unit would stay in a consent blink never fully powering on
Powered and unplugged the unit and switched to a different new fuse. Same results.
Powered off and unplugged the luxman. Put the old fuse back in. Powered on the unit and it would fully power up with only the one channel working
Powered off and unplugged the unit.
Had a smoke or two and did some serious head scratching.
Decided to replace all 4 fuses that are on the board.
Powered on the unit and Abra cadabra the unit powered on successfully.
Hooked up speakers and turntable. Ran it through its paces and everything is working just fine. Sounds wonderful.
