Luxman L3 testing without heatsink

I'm troubleshooting a Luxman L3 and need to replace a few components.

On this amp, you can get components out without taking off the heatsink for the output transistors.

Jus wanted to know if it's ok to run it for a while with no heatsink, if so, how long before I'd need to be worried about it?

If you need to do a quick verification of the board "outside" o the chassis, you can attach temporary heatsinks to the transistors.
I use a simple aluminum flat bar and paper clips to press the transistors against it.
Do not forget to use insulation if the transistors have metallic body
