Hi there... My first thread here..
I got my hands on a Lcd projector called Luminator. Anyone heard/Have one?
I have some problems with it.
The picture/Logo (nView logo) shows fine on the wall, but when my computer/Tv is connected there is missing some of the picture in the top and side. Is the projektor damaged?
The other problem is that suddently the buttens on the projektor fails. Its like the hole projector freeze. (The image is not freezing).
I think it has been out side in the reign.
I took it apart and cleaned the linse/Mirrors/Fraisnel/Lcd.
Any one have an idea what could be wrong with it?
I also building my own projector:
15" Hp Lcd
250 What bulb/Fraisnel (From a old OHP)

Check the resolution you are sending to the projector from your computer. Try to match it up with the projectors native resolution. So lets say that the projector has a native resolution of 640x480. If the resolution is set to 800x600 on your computers output then you would only be able to see 640x 480 of the 800x600 screen. 160 pixels from one side or the other and 120 pixels from one top or bottom would not be displayed. Some projectors can automatically or manually compress the image to fit but it would depend on the features of your specific projector.
Do you view tv thru the computer input or does it have it's own video input? If it's thru the computer input then it would be that same problem and solution as above.
Let us know...

Thx for the reply.
If I remember right Ive tried with the resolution 640x480 with no luck. I use a S-video cable to connect. Either direct with the Tv or the computer, and its the same problem with both.
When I use my computer throug my Tv and the resolution is to high for the Tv, then its just scrolling the image following the mouse. The same thing happens with the projektor but ther is stil missing some.
Could it be the whater that are messing with the image, sounds wierd, but?
It is also blurred at the right side of the screen.

What model is your projector? Is it made by a company called Luminator? Can you find listed on...

I wonder if your projector has a even lower resolution than 640x480. I can't imagine that is it but you never know.

It is called Luminator and is made by nView. There is two Luminators on the link. But my Luminator have a digatal input, so i dont think its one of those.
I found these pics on google. Looks like it.
Dont know if i should put it aside for a while and use my time on building my own projector.

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.
