A quick question after reading and searching for an answer - which matched LU1014D to get at Deep Surplus, who has them ranging from a Vgs of .61 through 1.22? It would be for an F3.
If there is a thread you can point me to that answers that question - point me to it. If it doesn't really matter, that would be good to know.
Thanks for any help.

I believe you said searched and read? N.P. always said his where 1.1Vgs @ 1.5-2A Ids, or was that .5A Ids in his test fixture? Isn't that in the ZV9 article?
I had read the ZV9 article before, but after reading a number of other forum posts, it is easy to forget what you have seen where.
At any rate, I did look at the ZV9 article again, per your reference. NP does say that most of the LU1014D will test out with Vgs between 1.0 and 1.1 volts. As such, that now guides me as to what to buy.
Thanks!

My LU1014D from batch 0009.1 / 0540G have not needed matching.
Batch 0009.2 I have not tested yet.
If there is a 2:1 or 1:2 difference between devices I wonder..
Batch 0009.1 and 0009.2 was delivered from Lovoltech / Qspeed in the period 2005 to they sold out the last stock in 2008.
Deep Surplus are supposed to have only 0009.2 / 054G as it was of the very last stock in 2008 they got theirs if what they sell are originals.
Else there are 99% fake for sale as the batch numbers are not correct, or the packages for that matter.
Some of the "fakers" are either word blind or very sloppy.
They use 045G instead of 054G and as the first number instead of 0009.1/0009.2 are numbers that looks like numbers that are similar, but not identical to the first two sample batches I got in 2004 / 2005.
EDIT: I see that Deep Surplus sells 0009.1 / 054G with Lovoltech labeling on the stickers...
This is very strange as that is production earlier than 2006...
And that can explain the big variations as the early JFETs I got with Lovoltech labeling on stickers was not as good as the later ones with Qspeed stickers.
If some or much of the last 10.000 stock Qspeed sold was old (from before 2006) with big spread I am lucky that I stopped buying when it was 10.000 left.
Attached stickers for deliveries in 2006 and 2008.
