In LTSpice I click on the .op on the top right then type .lib and then a space, after the space type the path where the model is located on your home computer. To find the model path right click on it, then properties, it should list the path. Just copy and paste.

For example:

.lib /user/docs/models/tubes/6BQ5.lib

Thanks for the response. That's not working for me either --
The models are all in a single .lib file.
C:\Program Files\LTC\LTspiceXVII\lib\sub\tube.lib
I would love to set this up so I can quickly grab the correct symbol in the component menu. These are located at C:\Program Files\LTC\LTspiceXVII\lib\sym\Tubes. It's visible in Windows, but doesn't show up in the LTSpice component menu.

LTspiceXVII keeps the libraries and symbols element in miscellaneous folder. You have disposed its personal information in not that folder.
Something like:
C:\User\user name\....LTspiceXVII\lib...
This problem discussed on this forum, denoted LTspiceXVII.

The Quoting from the other forum (https://forum.allaboutcircuits.com/threads/ltspice-version-xvii-thoughts.128680/):
I wanted to try it with some of my existing circuits. Being lazy I figured that I would just rename the .Lib folder in the LTspice XVII directory and then copy my .Lib from the older LTspice IV folder.

Well, the copied folder was not found even when I restarted LTspice XVII. After a bunch of tooth grinding, I found that even though the .Lib folder is in the LTspice XVII folder, the .Lib folder _actually_ used is in the C\:Users\Richard\Documents\LTspiceXVII folder on my PC.
