I have i Diy 2.5 Cufeet enclosure tuned to 18 Hz, by 12 inch wilson watch dog driver crossed over at 50 Hz. Now since i am using a car amp class D 750 watts, i need to boost the signal as putcompared to the balanced in output going to krell . The subsonic filter built-in amp is at 20 Hz, and i am using BFD with Q=1, Fo=20 Hz gain= +12 db.

Sounds much better now at lowest end but times the woofers seems to loose control and sound buzz buzz one note only .....its annoying some times as compared to bass from mains i.e B&W 802 but some times for LFE wobble and awe are too good too good to believe.

BTW the driver is from wison audio watch dog subwoofer.

Tuning

On this page the specifications suggest that flatish response to 18 Hz is achieved by cutting frequencies above it! That's the only way I can explain the awesome 83 dB @ 1Wm sensitivity...
