Thank you very much guys, it seems no one had done measurements on power tubes. I think i will do it, can you point me to a methodology and ready made uln boards. I never did these kind of very controlled testing, so i need your help 😉
As for equipments i only have one digital oscilloscope and many multimeter, and i can build a psu for testing.
There really is no noise at the output stage. My tube amps are dead quiet and so are most others for sure. Hum is not due to the tube's noise. The first gain stage contributes most noise, but since a tube amp can be dead quiet that noise is academic at best.
Trying to reinvent the wheel usually fails.
I simply can't see any point in trying to mess about with a non-problem, but hey some people have plenty of time on their hands for pointless & futile exercises.

To be fair i dont even have time its just that i really need to know, and sometimes it takes over my rationality....
