low jitter clock help needed

Hi

Could some one help me out in connecting a low jitter clock to a Sony CDP101 cd player.

I attached a scan of the schematic where i found the clock but am confused with the topografy of it. Meaning all the low jitter clock instalations are simple "just remove the XO / caps ..and connect the new clock"

Could somebody take a look and tell if i take out the XO and the other parts , connect the new clock to pin 26 or 27 , to both.

I would go with the trail and error approach but I am afraid i could ruin the DAC. If i am not careful.

looking forward to the wisdom of the forum

clock connection

Hi
Thanks for the reply I will try both and see if it works.
great help .

I looked at the kwak clock and do not know where is the inverted output of the clock. I must say I am new at this I am more on the practical side and better on reading / understanding schematics than on the theory side.

I am attaching the schematics of the kwak clock i am using.

Thanks anyway TICO

clock connections

Well i will see i did try it with 27Mhz and it worked fine.

I have an oscilloscope to track the signal if that does not trigger then i have a similar design the hagclock and try that.
thanks
