Low Impedance (3-4 ohms) Scan Speak Tweeters with Single Ended Triode Amplifier

Hi at all !

I have a dude.

A lot of good Speakers , have Scan Speak tweeters.

I have a 300B SE Amplifier.

Are A low impedance ( 3-4 ohms) tweeter and SE Triode amplifiers compatible ?

Normally you need to use an L-pad or resistor with a tweeter to reduce its SPL to match the midrange or woofer. You can raise the effective impedance when you do.

Yes, it's solid state amplifiers that don't like low impedances.

Use any needed resistance to reduce impedance variations and move toward the expectation of your transformer tap.

But if the SPL with 1W/2.83V is not is not greater than what I need?

Could only the tweeter work ?

I would be surprised if it's not. What is the rest of the speaker?

Do you have different taps to use for the woofer and tweeter?

I think this is a similar question of sorts
I have a 4ohm woofer, and want to use in a 3 way system with an 8ohm mid and 8 ohm tweeter, is that okay? I also have a single ended tube amp with only 8ohm tap.
