I am designing a small two way and I want to remove all frequencies below 100hz. In the "loudspeaker design cookbook" it mentions a low frequency filter but I can't find an equation for one. Can anyone direct me. I also recently finished a 2 way that was compared with Vandersteen 2Ci. All four reviewers thought my design smoked the Vandersteens. It's amazing to me that such nice speakers can be put together for such reasonable $.
Low frequency filter
Allow me to expand further. In essence, I am building a small satellite sub combo for use in my boat. I will be bi amping. So I guess that I ahve a three way design. I will be using a 2nd order LR for the satellites at 4000hx and I want to quickly roll off the mid woofer at 100hz. Can I use a 4th order LR high pass at 100hz to get rid of unwanted LF? The satellites will be powered by one amp. Thanks for the help.
