I am building a volume control with loudness function.
The C-taper (anti-log) potentiometer plot with LTspice gives me errors and I can't figure out what's missing. I've got the model from Yahoo LTspice support group. I am still a beginner with spice simulation, please help.

I think maybe some are scratching their heads.
Potentiometer taper doesn't have anything to do with a loudness function. Two different things.
In the old days, tapped potentiometers were used in conjunction with an external network to alter the equalization of the system in specific portions of the pot rotation.
Is that the sort of thing you're after??

Hi Dave. Thank you for your response. Did you open the attached LTSpice file?
It shows the external circuit. Anyway, with the help of Helmut Sennewald from the Yahoo LTSpice support group, I can now plot the frequency response of the circuit. It needs tweaking to accommodate available parts, ie. 100KC pot and desired freq. response.
I will post an updated circuit soon.
