hi
its my first time to build a gainclone, i have wired everything up and plugged the amp into a 220 volts socket. all i hear is a loud humm and a faint sound of the music. im a little confused with regards to the diagram.
where do you put the pot?is it between the 4.7 ufd 35 volts cap. and the phono input?cause thats what i did.
are my speaker busted already?
instead of the 56k filter, you can put the pot right? the pot that i have has 3 solder leads, how do you wire them up?
i seem to be lacking some parts in my gainclone.
i have wired up the ff.
4.7 uf 35v cap=1
1000 uf 50v cap=2
220k resistor, 1/4 wat=1
10k resistor 1/4 watt=
thanks for your help.

Hi,
DONT connect your speakers now! Use first some crap speaker you dont mind to loose.
Measure offset of both channels. Starwire the ground wires. Try it without the pot: input cap (4.7), 10k resistor to -input. +input to ground. 220k on feedback. 1000uF caps on the rails. And youre done!
